Have you ever been annoyed by those annoying banner reminders on Apple Calendar? Anyway, I was already harassed enough, so I did some research. Have you ever thought that you received the reminder because you watched too many "porn movies"? Actually, it’s not. So are these spam messages pushed to your calendar reminders? Next, I will reveal them to you one by one. First, the sender purchased a batch of Apple IDs at a low cost. Then open the calendar on your iPhone, click the "+" in the upper right corner, fill in the title of the ad, set the start time and end time, then select "Home" or "Work" in "ICLOUD" in the "Calendar" option, then enter the Apple ID you want to bombard from the "Invitees", fill in the "URL" and "Notes", and a shocking calendar reminder ad is ready. Someone said, I can click "Reject"! Too young, too simple. No matter which of the three options you choose, "Accept", "Maybe" or "Reject", it will remind the sender which invitation you rejected, which is equivalent to telling the sender clearly "Yes, it's me, keep sending it!". Even if you delete the event, it will not help because you cannot stop the sender from sending invitations next time. In fact, there is a solution. The fundamental solution is to change the email address bound to the Apple ID (do not use QQ email). In addition to this, there are other non-cure methods: there is already an application in the App Store that specifically blocks calendar ads, which you can download; or you can directly cancel the calendar synchronized with iCloud in the iCloud settings. Now let’s be a little naughty and open our minds to think, if we really want to use this trick, how can we deliver the advertisement to our target audience? You can use QQ group resources! The vast majority of Apple accounts in China are registered through QQ mailboxes, and the people in QQ groups are often the target audience you want. The effect of sending emails is average, but you will never miss the calendar banner push, right? Of course, there is a big premise that the user must be an Apple user. Then you may also ask, is there an advanced method that can be completed in batches? The answer is yes. First, use a tool to export the email addresses of QQ group members, then buy an Apple ID specifically for sending calendar reminder ads, use this ID to log in to the APP Store and iCloud, and finally use a script to repeatedly send batches of invitations. In the past, some people used iMessage to send mass advertising messages. It was not until Apple released iOS8.3 and introduced the reporting function for iMessage that the problem of user harassment was solved. So, if you ask me whether the calendar reminder trick can be broken? I think so, but at least it's still possible to play with it for now, although I haven't officially put it into practice yet. Of course, the conversion rate and usability of this approach remain to be verified.
