After nearly 20 years of studying Western philosophy, he began to turn to the study of Chinese philosophy in 1984. He has published dozens of books, including "Fu Peirong's Philosophy Class" and "Fu Peirong Talks about Life". He is one of the few professional scholars in China who has conducted in-depth research on Chinese and Western philosophy.

He began teaching the philosophy of life course in 1986, for which he was selected as Taiwan's "popular professor on campus." This course has also been rated as "the most popular open course at NTU" many times. His book "Philosophy and Life" has been reprinted more than 30 times and sold millions of copies.

Course Outline:

I first got to know Professor Fu through his Western philosophy class. This class started me, a person who was afraid of philosophy but envied philosophers like Socrates, on the path of studying philosophy and searching for its origins. Later, I listened to Teacher Fu’s lectures on the Tao Te Ching and the I Ching. Teacher Fu’s lectures made me interested in these, and I have persisted in learning. I believe that this new philosophy of life class is a better summary of life by the teacher. I am still young, and I can follow the experienced teacher Fu to explore the meaning of my life, understand myself, and find the future path that truly belongs to me. My life will also shine.
