1) Log in to your Facebook and click on the upper right corner to enter the background advertisement!

3) Facebook’s three ads!

In fact, from a broad perspective, Facebook advertising is mainly divided into three parts:

1. Campaign

3. Advertising

All other settings are based on these three.

4) The most commonly chosen marketing activities, as shown in the red box: number of views/traffic interactions/number of conversions, etc. Usually, these are the ones we use the most in e-commerce. If you are interested, you can learn about the others!

5) Set a name for your marketing campaign for easy reference in the future. For example, if your ad is to promote a pair of shoes, you can directly name it "promoted shoes". Details are always important!

6) Choose your audience and specific positioning. This is the essence of Facebook, precise advertising! Custom audiences are a more direct and proactive Facebook advertising marketing method. Through the custom audience feature, you can create specific goals for your customers' Facebook accounts, email addresses or phone numbers and develop a variety of ads.

No longer need to be limited to guessing the gender, age and other audience information of the advertising target. Instead, you can target ads to specific user groups more accurately.

7) As shown in the picture, you can locate your audience. Like Google, Facebook can also calculate the audience in this area and further expect the results!

Then set up specific products for promotion, such as shoes and some keyword tags for peripherals, etc. Facebook will make it easier to deliver targeted products!

8) Set audience conditions, including age, gender, language, whether they are your fans, etc. This function is similar to WeChat’s tag classification and whether the Moments are visible or not!

9) The next step is to choose a layout, which is the display on Facebook’s display page. You can choose the specific display template yourself!

11) Of course, the next step is to set a budget

Advertisement price settings are divided into two forms: daily budget and lifetime budget

Daily budget: The amount you want to spend each day over a period of time. The minimum cost is $5

Lifetime budget: Total spending over a period of time.

You can also click Advanced Settings to make detailed settings for your ad:

You can set the time for the ad to run, such as running it immediately after setting it up, or you can set it at a specific time to run the ad.

Optimization for Ad delivery

For the advertising goal you have selected, whether you choose CPC or CPM, these two settings will affect the final display form of the ad and your bid. Here you can choose to have Facebook bid automatically for you, or you can adjust the price manually. If Facebook automatically bids, then Facebook will mainly bid based on the user's time period. For example, if Facebook finds that most people related to your product appear at 8 o'clock, then your ads will be displayed a lot at this time (Facebook will present your ads to your users in a concentrated manner during this time)

12) Create an advertising format

In the ad copy, you can choose 2 types of ad display formats:

The first one is: single image or video ad

The second one is: multiple pictures in rotation (Carousel)

13) When you are done, click Confirm in the lower right corner!

Advertising results performance:

You can view Facebook’s performance through Facebook’s tracking pixel. You can also click on Facebook’s ads manager by clicking on columns. You need to view the following metrics:

Performance: advertising results, reach, and cost

Engagement: post likes, page engagement, post engagement

Videos: Number of views of the video

Website: website clicks, checkout, payment information, add to cart

Apps: number of app installations

Events: How many people participated in the event and how responsive it was

Clicks: independent IP access, click rate, click volume

Settings: When the ad runs, when it ends, the bid, and the choice of ad goals
